Return and Warranty Policy
At AptusWorks, we strive to provide high-quality custom products and services. Due to the personalized nature of our offerings, our return policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business. Please review the details below before making a purchase.
- Eligibility for Returns
- Custom-Built Items: Items that are custom-built to order, such as powder coating services, custom fabrication, or any products tailored to your specifications, are non-returnable and non-refundable unless there is a verifiable manufacturing defect (e.g., faulty materials, poor workmanship, or failure to meet agreed-upon specifications). Since all our products are custom-built to order, this applies to every item we offer.
- Return Process
- Initiating a Return: If you believe your item qualifies for a return due to a manufacturing defect, contact us at sales@aptusworks.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and photos or evidence of the defect.
- Inspection: Returned items must be shipped back to us (at your expense unless we determine the defect is our fault, in which case we'll reimburse shipping). We'll inspect the item upon receipt to confirm the defect.
- Resolution: If approved, we'll offer a full refund, repair, or replacement at our discretion. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval.
- Shipping and Handling: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
- Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
- Beyond custom-built nature, items are also non-returnable if they've been used, damaged by the customer, or altered in any way.
- We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse, changes in preferences, or incorrect specifications provided by the customer during ordering.
- Warranty
- Coverage: All products come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of manufacture or purchase (whichever is later), covering defects in materials and workmanship only. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
- Verification: To claim warranty service, the product's laser-etched serial number must match our records for the original purchaser. We use this to verify ownership and prevent unauthorized claims.
- Warranty Process: Contact us with your order details, serial number, and evidence of the defect. If valid, we'll repair or replace the item at no cost (including shipping both ways). Warranty claims must be made within the 1-year period.
- Limitations: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It does not cover consequential damages or losses.
- General Terms
- All returns and warranty claims are subject to our final approval.
- We reserve the right to update this policy at any time; changes will be posted on our website.
